Refund Policy

At Kahiwi Wines, we stand behind the quality of our products. If you receive a faulty item, we're here to make it right.

Faulty Products

If you believe a wine in your order is faulty, please contact us immediately. For wine-specific faults, the bottle must be returned to the winery with some of the remaining wine inside so we can properly assess the issue.

Upon confirmation of a fault, we will send you a replacement bottle at no additional cost. Please note that we offer replacements rather than monetary refunds for faulty products.

Returns Process

To initiate a return for a faulty product:

  2. Describe the issue you've experienced

  3. We'll provide instructions for returning the product to our winery

Change of Mind

We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind purchases. Please choose carefully when placing your order.

Delivery Policy

New Zealand Deliveries

We use NZ Post for all deliveries within New Zealand. Please allow 7 working days from the date of purchase for your order to arrive.

Delivery Attempts

If you're not home when the courier arrives and you haven't provided authority to leave the delivery on your premises, a calling card will be left at your door or in your letterbox. You can then contact the courier to arrange a convenient redelivery time or collect your order from your local post office or depot.

International Deliveries

We partner with Wine Collective Direct to ship internationally to the following destinations:

  • Australia

  • USA

  • UK (including Northern Ireland and other non-mainland destinations)

  • Hong Kong

  • Singapore

  • Japan

  • South Korea

  • Belgium

  • Italy

  • Germany

  • Netherlands

Estimated Delivery Timeframes

After dispatch from the Wine Collective Direct export warehouse, typical delivery times are:

  • Australia: 1-3 weeks (by air)

  • USA: 1-4 weeks (by air)

  • UK: 10-15 weeks (by sea)

  • Asia: 2-3 weeks (by air)

Delivery Tracking

You'll receive an email from Wine Collective Direct with a tracking link so you can monitor your delivery status right to your door.

Pricing

The price shown on Wine Collective Direct includes door-to-door freight, all applicable taxes and duties, and insurance. There are no additional costs at checkout or upon delivery.
