MIKE WOLFENDEN
Mike's journey in the wine trade began in 2000, starting in sales and developing a focus on estates influenced by organic and biodynamic principles. His quest for understanding led him through the vineyards of Southwest France, Corsica, Alsace, Germany, Australia, Oregon, and New Zealand, accumulating broad knowledge of international wine styles, production, and culture. For a decade prior to co-founding Kahiwi, Mike was an integral part of the winemaking team at Central Otago's Felton Road Wines, where he focused on wine production, vineyard research, and development.
OLIVIA ROSS
Olivia brings a diverse background encompassing arts, viticulture, winemaking, and laboratory analysis to Kahiwi. With a Master's degree in Viticulture and Oenology from Lincoln University, she has applied her expertise globally, from New Zealand to France, the U.S., and Australia. Olivia's commitment to organic and biodynamic wine production has been unwavering throughout her career. Her experience includes designing Central Otago's 'Wine Solutions' laboratory and being part of the winemaking and vineyard team at Burn Cottage Wines from 2014-2020.
